Accessibility Statement

Sayta is working to make its public-media discovery service usable by people with disabilities in Sri Lanka and elsewhere.

Scope and approach

This statement covers Sayta’s own pages and forms. It does not cover media players, source pages, or other content controlled by third-party platforms.

Sayta uses the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 level AA as a design target. Sri Lankan public-sector web-accessibility guidance informs that work; Sayta is a private service and does not represent that the guidance establishes a conformance status for this service.

Current limitations

• Third-party video players may not support every keyboard or assistive-technology interaction.
• The timestamp range selector requires additional keyboard support.
• Some dynamic updates may not be announced consistently by assistive technology.

Third-party media

Sayta links to and may embed media hosted by third parties. Those providers control their players, captions, controls, cookies, and accessibility support. When an embedded player is not usable, the source link in the media details remains available.

Sri Lankan context

This statement is intended to be read with applicable law in Sri Lanka, including protections for persons with disabilities. It does not limit any rights or remedies available under mandatory law.

Assessment

Sayta has not published an independent accessibility conformance assessment. This statement describes the current implementation and known limitations rather than a certification of compliance.
